Before To&Fro
Travel details get shared in pieces no one can put back together.
Social apps let you share a moment. They don't let you pass on your plans in a way someone else can use. So people share bit by bit: a hotel in a photo, a flight in a note. The next person ends up saving screenshots.
Those pieces needed one place to come together.
Pick it
Posting has to be easy for the few who post.

So I made the first step one choice: photo, text or audio. Each one opens a screen with only what that kind of post needs.

Making a post
Three cards to pick from
Many apps open on a blank text box. Here, the first tap already says what you’re making.
Seeing a post
Each has its own look
Photos fill the card, words lead a text post, and an audio post shows its title with a play button.
The picker I designed
Where each kind shows up
PhotoPhotoPhotoPhotoPhotoTextTextTextAudioAudioAudio
Each card says what leads: photos, words or sound.
Each card shows a small preview of how the post will look on the Feed.
The Feed reads that first choice to pick the right card.
Most people only read, so each card has to make sense at a glance.
The picker I designed
Where each kind shows up
Make it
Each kind of post looks different, but they all feel like one app.

On the screen where people make a post, I gave each kind its own look, and kept the same parts in the same place. Photos, words or sound lead at the top. Where you were, who was with you and who can see it always sit at the bottom.

Making a post
Three kinds, one layout
Each kind starts with what leads it. The details below never move.

What leads, and the extras you can add, change with the kind.

Extras change with the kind
Poll and music on every kind. Text adds a style; audio adds a mood.
Details stay in the same rows
Place, people and who can see it sit in the same rows on all three.
One way to tag, learned once
One place, several, or one per photo. Tagging people works the same way.
See it
Reading has to be quick for the many who read.

The choice made at the start becomes the card on the Feed, so readers know what a post is before they tap. A photo shows the photo, words show their first lines, and sound shows its title.

Seeing a post
The card, then the post
The Feed plays through each kind on its own. Each lit card opens the post beside it.

Each card shows a piece of what is inside: the photo, the first words, or the title.
Tap it, and the full post opens with the same look.

One choice, start to end
What people pick when they post decides the card readers see.
Plans fit in the same Feed
A Kit with the hotel, flight and dates sits beside posts as its own card.
Still open: do people tap audio?
You can’t see sound, so this is the card I would test first.
Post it
Post one yourself.

I built the photo post as a working prototype, so you can try it right here. It runs from the Feed to a posted card, with drafts and mistakes along the way.

Tap anywhere on the phone, just like the app.

What's next
One post can now hold the whole plan.

Each kind of post can carry a Kit: the hotel, flight and dates, attached under it. Next comes the app’s design system, and how Kits fit the business.

Now
The design system
My spacing, buttons and card corners became the base for the whole app. Next I merge them with the screens already built.

Should Kits be sold?
A Kit is a full plan someone else can use. It could be free, or bought from the person who made it. The founder is still deciding.
Later
A web version
On a bigger screen, the picker cards can come alive on hover and show what each kind makes.
